Fall Bash at Cedar County Raceway Up Next

DES MOINES, Iowa (09/30/24) – Tom Berry Jr. increased his 2024 win total to 17 over the weekend with a $10,000 victory in Saturday’s Survive the 55 at Skagit Speedway aboard the Coast Island Marine Ltd. / Pacific Cachalot / EMD Wraps No. 90 Lethal Chassis Modified.

The Bend, Oregon native now residing in Marshalltown, Iowa, parked the Jason and Tammy Beaulieu-owned entry in Victory Lane after returning to his region following a nearly eight-year absence.

“First off, I want to thank the whole Beaulieu family for the great hospitality and hard work to get me on this stage,” Berry said. “Second I want to thank Jason & Lethal Chassis for giving me the best equipment to be behind the wheel of. It’s an awesome feeling to get this win in front of this crowd.

Berry’s western swing kicked off on Friday at Skagit Speedway (Burlington, Wash.) aboard the Jason and Tammy Beaulieu-owned No. 90 Modified for the Survive The 55 presented by Skagit Aggregates.

Taking part in a pair of heat races on Friday, Berry secured a strong night of passing points after going forward in both heats. He followed up a sixth-to-third showing with a fourth-to-second run.

Locked on the second row for Saturday’s Survive 55 finale, Tom pounced into the lead on lap 20 and paced the remainder of the 55-lap affair to register his 17th win of the 2024 campaign.

Berry claimed the $10,000 winner’s share ahead of Kyle Strickler, Nick Trenchard, Ty Clemens, and Collen Winebarger.

Berry is now gearing up for the Darkside Promotions Fall Bash at Cedar County Raceway (Tipton, IA). A pair of prelims on Thursday and Friday set the stage for Saturday’s $3,000-to-win finale.
