Berry Jr. battles bad luck over three-race swing
Tom Berry Jr.’s extended race weekend stretched across five days with three events at two Iowa tracks.
Thursday’s outing at Marshalltown Speedway saw Berry competing in his Modified, but his night ended early with a lap-15 retirement in the feature. He then transitioned to the Rick and Mia Dralle-owned No. 11x Late Model for Saturday’s Malvern Bank East Series event at Independence Motor Speedway, where he finished sixth in his heat before exiting the $3,500-to-win feature on lap 12.
Hoping to rebound, Berry returned to Marshalltown Speedway on Tuesday but was sidelined once again—retiring from his heat race and ultimately scratching from his B-Main.
