Tom Berry Jr. races into Modified World Championship at MTS

Tom Berry Jr. headed north over the weekend to compete alongside the nation’s top Modified drivers in the inaugural Modified World Championship at Mississippi Thunder Speedway.

Following a challenging outing in Thursday’s preliminary program, Berry rebounded on Friday with a third-place finish in the night’s feature, securing a starting spot in Saturday’s $100,025-to-win main event.

Lining up 10th for the 80-lap A-Main, Berry’s run was cut short after contact with the wall forced him to retire early from the high-stakes finale.
