Top-5 finish in Battle at the Beaver at Buena Vista

Friday night saw Tom Berry Jr. in action at Marshalltown Speedway for the track’s Midwest Liquid Systems Night.

After a strong heat race effort, charging from fourth to first, Berry’s feature run was cut short, ending early on lap 15.

Berry extended his weekend by competing Monday and Tuesday, finishing fifth in Monday’s Battle at the Beaver at Buena Vista Raceway before heading to Boone Speedway on Tuesday for the rescheduled Harris Clash.

At Boone, Berry put in a solid heat race performance, moving from seventh to second. However, a penalty for deck height forced him to call it a night early, opting to start-and-park in the feature.
