Berry finishes third in IMCA Super Nationals at Boone

Tom Berry Jr. was among the 243 IMCA Modifieds that converged on Boone Speedway this past week for the 43rd annual Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.

Berry’s week got off to a slow start, scratching from his consolation races on both Wednesday and Thursday. However, he showed speed with a runner-up finish in his Race of Champions heat on Thursday.

On Friday, Berry bounced back—winning both his heat race and preliminary feature to secure his ninth victory of the season. He also took part in the All-Star Invitational but retired early on lap five.

Carrying that momentum into Saturday, Berry finished fifth in the Race of Champions main event before improving his finish by one spot in the $10,000-to-win IMCA Super Nationals finale. He crossed the line in fourth, trailing Tim Ward, Dakota Sproul, and Dallon Murty, with Jeremy Mills rounding out the top five.
