Third-place finish in Race for Hope 71 at Batesville
Tom Berry Jr. climbed behind the wheel of the No. 11 All Steel / Andrews Autosport Modified this past weekend as Batesville Motor Speedway hosted the ninth annual Race for Hope 71.
The three-night event kicked off Thursday, where Berry was scored 24th in the feature after retiring on lap seven.
He rebounded Friday with a solid seventh-place finish, setting the stage for his strongest showing on Saturday. After charging from sixth to first in his heat race to lock into the $4,000-to-win main event, Berry powered to a third-place finish in the 40-lap finale. He joined race winner Zane Devilbiss and runner-up Tim Ward on the podium.
