Tom Berry Jr. tackles Gateway Dirt Nationals at The Dome
Making the trek to Saint Louis, Tom Berry Jr. rolled into The Dome at America's Center (St. Louis, Mo.) on Friday afternoon for his preliminary night of the eighth-annual Gateway Dirt Nationals.
Laying down the eighth-quickest qualifying lap out of 32 Modifieds, Berry finished runner-up in his heat race which earned him a spot in the preliminary feature. Starting eighth in the 20 lapper, Tom was caught up in a early wreck and finished 16th.
With too much damage sustained from the incident, Tom called it a weekend early.
