TBJ runner-up in Fall Bash at Cedar County

Tom Berry Jr. returned to Modified action over the weekend as the three-day Hoker Trucking Fall Bash unfolded at Cedar County Raceway in Tipton, Iowa.

After an early exit on lap 10 of Thursday’s opener, Berry bounced back on Friday by finishing second in his heat race to earn a spot in the redraw. He went on to gain one position in the 30-lap feature, finishing fifth.

Saturday marked his strongest showing of the weekend. The Oregon native charged from fourth to first in his heat, locking into the $3,000-to-win finale. Berry capped off the night with a runner-up finish in the 25-lap main event, joining race winner Ethan Braaksma and third-place finisher Tripp Gaylord on the podium.
